Notesnook 3.3.8 brings note expiration, CSV import/export, and improved customization
Notesnook 3.3.8, the latest release of the privacy-focused note-taking app, introduces automatic note expiration. Expired notes are now moved to the trash, enhancing both privacy and organization. In addition, users can now export tables as CSV files and directly import CSV data as tables within the editor, streamlining work with spreadsheet content.
Following these enhancements, customization options have expanded. Users can control line spacing in the editor with a new line height setting, and easily modify how dates are displayed using new day and week formats. The ability to select a preferred start day of the week and edit note creation dates further improves organizational flexibility.
On mobile, Android users now have the option to add shortcuts for notebooks, tags, notes, and colors directly to their home screen, speeding up access to frequently used items. New keyboard shortcuts have also been introduced to improve efficiency across workflows. For users who track revisions, note history now includes both titles and content in each session, making change tracking more comprehensive.
Other improvements in this version include multipart uploads on mobile devices, customizable monograph titles, attachment previews, conflict detection on locked notes, improved sync reliability, a performance increase for collapsible headers, and various other enhancements and bug fixes.
