DEVONagent is a search assistant for Mac users. It conducts thorough searches across multiple sources, filtering out irrelevant data and providing scheduled searches. The software works with many search engines, collecting and filtering data, and alerting you to content that matches your search criteria from your preferred websites.
DEVONagent has advanced filtering features, including Boolean and proximity operators, and can find specific content types. Its 'See Also' list allows for detailed exploration of search results. It also includes a built-in web browser for research, extracting images, news feeds, links, email addresses, and linked documents with one click.
The software archives search results for future use and supports exporting these results to DEVONthink or saving them as files in various formats. DEVONagent comes in three versions: Pro, with full features; Express, with the same functionality but in a more accessible menu bar item; and Lite, a free version with basic search features.
