FigTree Alternatives

FigTree is described as 'Is designed as a graphical viewer of phylogenetic trees and as a program for producing publication-ready figures. As with most of my programs, it was written for my own needs so may not be as polished and feature-complete as a commercial program' and is an app. There are four alternatives to FigTree for Mac, Windows, Linux and Java. The best FigTree alternative is TreeView X, which is both free and Open Source. Other great apps like FigTree are Archaeopteryx, TreeView and Dendroscope.
