I struggled a bit with this extension and gave up. I installed it in Brave, which was successful, but it took quite a while to figure out how to make it actually work. I assume there are instructions somewhere. I created an OpenAI API key but it kept timing out - I suspect it doesn't work with a free ChatGPT account.

MarkMind information
What is MarkMind?
MarkMind is a Chrome extension using Google Gemini AI to automatically categorize bookmarks, eliminating manual sorting. It offers a one-click solution to organize bookmarks. Users select the bookmarks to be organized, and the AI analyzes the title, URL, and content context of each. It then suggests the most suitable folder for each bookmark, allowing user approval before moving anything.
MarkMind features include smart AI organization, bulk processing, privacy-first principle, compatibility with existing structures, transparent logs, and the ability to add the current page. It supports multiple AI providers including Google Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic, or OpenRouter.
MarkMind is ideal for researchers, developers, students, and anyone with a cluttered bookmark bar.
