What is Slidr?
Slidr turns the unused edges of your MacBook trackpad into intuitive volume and brightness controls. Slide up along the right edge to increase volume, down to decrease. Use the left edge for brightness. It's instant, natural, and works without taking your hands off the trackpad.
Features include haptic feedback, external monitor brightness via DDC, a 3-finger tap for middle click, fine control mode for precise adjustments, smart typing detection to prevent accidental triggers, cursor freeze while adjusting, a modifier key option to require a key press before gestures activate, and the ability to swap sides. Slidr lives in your menu bar, uses minimal resources, and launches at login.
