Splitter (MacOS) is described as 'The speedrunning timer for macOS' and is an app. There are five alternatives to Splitter (MacOS) for Linux, Windows, Web-based, Android and F-Droid. The best Splitter (MacOS) alternative is LiveSplit, which is both free and Open Source. Other great apps like Splitter (MacOS) are Floating Timer, Urn, LibreSplit and Mist Timer.

Mist is a speedrun timer written in Rust, targeting mainly Linux, but mostly supporting Windows and macOS. It started out as a series of projects that I used to learn Rust, back in 2019 or something.
