I could not be happier to switch back to Ecosia. After the recent announcement of AI search features I was really down that even ECO-related software solutions just integreate AI - even tough they know (or at least should) that the user will use any comfort - even if not really necessary. so why ask precisely in a prompt and search for the answer if I can have a silly conversation with a LLM wich will just worsen the environnmental situation. Seeing now that Ecosia switches to EU servers and renewable energy really is a nice perspective. Look over to Infomaniak - they use the generated heat to heat homes on their grid. Cheers !
