What is Cromite?
Cromite is a fork of 
Bromite with ad blocking and privacy enhancements.
It includes an ad-blocker, and a lot of privacy related features such as the option to change the user agent (to trick websites to think you use another browser), an option to change the DNS the browser will use, and many more. Cromite's privacy features include anti-fingerprinting mitigations.

it is indeed quite good. pc version for some reason can interfere with 3rd party firewalls like eset, and going to whine about certifications. android version still doesnt have extension support, however it has a proper blocker and darktheme thing built in.
alltogether not a bad broser, and its INSANELY fast. just needs some time to iron out the quirks.

It means that bromite got abandoned, not the cromite which is a fork of it
Hell Guess :) foxy wolf is correct. Cromite was frequently updated sine 2011.

I am also assuming that the text was referring to Bromite was abandoned. In comparison, Cromite is still maintained.
