What is Zen Browser?
Zen Browser is an open-source software based on Mozilla Firefox, focusing on privacy, adaptability, and aesthetics. It uses vertical tabs, like Vivaldi, Microsoft Edge, Brave, and Arc Browser. Unique features include Split View, Zen Sidebar, Zen Glance, and workspaces for tab separation. It prioritizes user data protection with security features like tracking protection, support for the Online Certificate Status Protocol (OCSP), and strict SSL standards. It's built on the latest version of Firefox, inheriting its security updates.

Comments and Reviews
Zen browser is an amazing browser. I switched to it from Arc after Chromium started suppressing adblockers. It has so many good features and is made by just one independent developer, which makes it an awesome alternative to Chromium-based browsers.
Open-source, modern and customizable. Probably one of the best browser.
I just started using Zen. It's an interesting browser to try.
Zen forces users to use vertical tabs. The "Sidebery" add-on offers a much better vertical tab feature, so I personally don't see much reason to use Zen's vertical tabs. Installing it on Zen unfortunately introduces bugs.
Apart from vertical tabs, Zen also lets you view bookmarks in a vertical panel. This is quite impressive, as it's rare to find a browser that supports two vertical panels simultaneously. Perhaps this dual-panel capability makes up for the limitations of Zen's built-in vertical tabs.
I got on Zen following the Firefox AI-related annoucement and while this browser ask for a bit larger period of adaptation, i don't see myself moving to anything else now.
The minimalist interface really work to increase focus and do without the distracting suggestions and buttons. The Glance and the Split View also really offer a superior browsing experience compared to any other browser i'm used to until now.
The only downsides resides in the fact that extensions are a bit less accessible when you want to use them and the shortcut sections could be better designed.
