After Dark Sky was acquired by Apple in March 2020, they shut down their Android and Wear OS apps in August 2020. They also announced that their iOS app, website, and API (for third-party apps) will shutdown at the end of 2022. Geometric Weather is the best alternative to Dark Sky that I have come across. It is open source and ad-free, and it uses AccuWeather data, which The Outline says is accurate about 75% of the time compared to Dark Sky's 64-67%.
