Side7 is a small art site that feels a lot like old-time DeviantArt. AI-generated art is not allowed, and the site offers a range of privacy settings. You can upload your original characters into your profile and create charts for them. Another thing that makes it a worthy DeviantArt alternative is its groups. They work almost like the ones on DA did. Side7 allows you to use HTML in most parts of the site. The coding community and I found a way to make profile themes and journal skins, so if you are into customizations and chill, tight-knit communities, Side7 might be a place for you. The admin and the moderator are great, and they are constantly trying to improve the site and listen to the users. Side7 might not be the most suited for getting many followers, but it is fantastic if you want to quit the rat race of big-name websites and live off-grid drawing what you love.
