Freedoom is described as 'WIP a complete free content game based on the Doom engine. It's not an engine, but it's replacement game data with entirely original content, Compatible with a majority of game mods made for Doom. Comes in Three Flavors~' and is a first-person shooter in the games category. There are more than 10 games similar to Freedoom for a variety of platforms, including Windows, Mac, Linux, Steam and Xbox apps. The best Freedoom alternative is Unreal Tournament, which is free. Other Freedoom like games are Quake, Doom, Red Eclipse and AssaultCube.
