Standard notes is a bad FSNotes alternative.

Is not file based (I can't sync and manage files myself)

Bad non-native web-based UI that's counter-intuitive to a Mac user

Nags with account and online features on every launch

Does not support Markdown (unless you enable online features and pay)

Half of other features doesn't work, unless you enable online features and pay
