Comments about FreeCAD as an Alternative to Autodesk Fusion
FreeCad has been my go to since I left school, and the free student demo of solid works, as there are many packages you can add on to make it more customization. In my opinion, FreeCAD vs Solidworks is like Windows vs Linux, SW polished early with money, but given time, FreeCAD can find a huge market and be a serious competitor.
Uses constrain sketch design and is a quite different interface from Fusion 360, but the essential core is pretty similar and an excellent alternative especially for linux users that don't want to mess with wine.

Most users think FreeCAD is a great Autodesk Fusion alternative.
- FreeCAD is Free and Open Source

It's the most similar to Fusion 360 while still being free.
