    I like Proton Drive as an alternative to Google Drive because of its privacy-first approach to serving their users. Like Google Drive, it provides apps to download to the desktop and mobile devices. You can also set the desktop app to automatically sync selected folders.

    Very similar to Google Drive, has 10 GB free space, mobile app, one can create/upload/edit Microsoft Office files. Additionally one can tag these files. Encryption is possible, even though you have to pay for this.
