    ACAT does the same thing as VVV (Virtual Volumes View) only that it's much faster at cataloguing and the catalogue database size is 10x smaller!

    I did a test and VVV database for 2 hard drives with little data on them, exceptions to all the thousands of Windows system files and index cache etc. was 202 MB

    ACAT managed the same catalogue at 16 MB

    Advanced Cataloguer happens to be 8x more efficient.
