Really good if you want to make a simple website! If you wan't to make more complicated one than I recommend Wordpress, and a VPS host.
Challenge: • Wix have WEAK ethic. According to both Matt Mullenweg and Matt Jacobs, Wix stole code from an open source community. This means that Wix violated the software license. Which is an abusive behavior. Thus Wix have weak ethic. Strength: • Easy to use
Suggestion: • I do NOT trust Wix. Unfortunately some people choose to use Wix for their e-commerce services. Maybe they did not know about Wix's weak ethic. So I occasionally and TEMPORARILY allow access to Wix domain names. After I am done I block any domains name related to Wix. • If you need software from a company with stronger ethic, I suggest to try any other software. Such as Drupal Commerce, WooCommerce (commerce on WordPress), Shopify, or any other software to your liking.

Only SubDomains are free. From LeoAI : "Wix.com.. platform's architecture is designed to run exclusively on Wix's servers, and exporting the entire site to another host is not supported."
It is simple to use, but the site loads slowly, the support line is not good at all. I recommend using Godaddy.
Easy to use, single pane of glass for simple websites.
Not for Medium-Large businesses, or anyone. Their sites are over a second slower than Squarespace and Shopify. Bad Amazon/Ebay integrations. Requires hijacking your naked domain for no reason. Poor scaling on small laptops. Terrible performance on slow laptops/phones.
