  Very similar visual-wise. Contains modding (via Lua), custom texture packs and multiplayer mode with many public servers. Does its job quite well on weak CPUs and integrated graphics.

  You can easily mod and expand this and it is open-source. There's a lot of good mods, like Mesecons or WorldEdit and, as i mentioned before, the modding is much easier (because this is meant to be modded). A really good alternative to MC.
