    MobaXterm is a collection of functions required to accesas Unix based systens in one app. These include Terminal Access, File Transfer, and X11. The great advantage is, it works out-of-the-box and you don't need to have any other software.

    Xming is an X11 server for Windows, which is usually used with X11 forwarding from another client, e.g. PuTTY, whereas MobaXterm is a terminal app which happens to have X11 support included.

    Up to date with the X11 upstream source. Good font rendering OOB - no twiking needed.

    Where Xming opens simply (I could not get it to NOT open at startup), VcXsrv opens a window where you can control certain things, such as open start up, open GNU in another window, and small things like that.
