Apple Creator Studio apps add AI tools and deeper cross-app editing
Apple has introduced new AI features across its Creator Studio suite, bringing updates to Pixelmator Pro, Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, Motion, Compressor, and Final Cut Camera. The release adds more automation across Apple’s creative apps, from AI image generation and captioning to smarter video editing and audio tools.
Pixelmator Pro now supports AI image generation from natural language prompts, adds a Content Hub with curated assets, and integrates more deeply with Final Cut Pro, Keynote, Numbers, Pages, and Freeform. Users can send frames from Final Cut Pro to Pixelmator Pro, edit images directly from Apple office apps, and sync changes back into their original projects. Keynote, Numbers, and Pages also gain AI-powered vector shape generation.
Final Cut Pro adds on-device Generate Captions, Edit Detection for splitting rendered videos back into clips, Auto Mask for isolating elements like skin, hair, sky, and clothing, improved Color Match, and advanced trimming. Motion now supports native vector scaling, Compressor adds a Vision Pro-focused Immersive Metadata Viewer, and Final Cut Camera gains expanded ProRes support, Clean HDMI Out, and a digital zoom toggle. Logic Pro and MainStage also improve chord detection, Session Player responsiveness, and add a new granular sync mode in Alchemy. You can check all the changes in the official announcement here.
