We created Addressable.io - a totally free webapp to help people out with the daunting task of moving. Every time a person changes addresses, they need to submit a change of address form via USPS, however that only forwards mail to the new address for 12 months. People still need to go through different services and change their addresses for banks, financial institutions, utilities, insurance agencies, healthcare providers, periodicals and many more. Given so many services to update, its easy to forget some tasks and wind up having sensitive documents mailed to your old address! We wanted to make this process easier and streamlined for users, especially those who move often. Imagine having one site that listed all the services for which you are "addressable" and was your headquarters every time you needed to move.

Addressable.io uses a turbotax style wizard to guide individuals through all the different domains which may require a change of address. The guide also gives suggestions for services based on the old and new addresses entered by the user. Once someone has used addressable once for a move, subsequent moves are easy since your services are stored. You can create a personalized todolist for every move and also export and share your information, letting friends and family about your move.
