Usually works fine, but sometimes the connection to the server is unstable and refuses to connect, which is frankly very irritating Having to set up a server on the local network is a big disadvantage. You need a computer to do this, and you need to be on the same local network as the server, which makes it a horror when you're on the move, given the short lifespan of applications (7 days) I much prefer SideStore, which lets you install and refresh apps without the need for a computer, using just the device on which it's installed and a trick with a WireGuard VPN profile (which is actually a loop, no data leaves the device)
