Amphiptere OS is a lightweight, custom Debian-based Linux distribution built specifically for Purple Team operators, security researchers, and cybersecurity students who want a streamlined platform for both offensive and defensive testing. Purple Team Focus: Designed for both attack (Red Team) and defense (Blue Team) testing rather than strictly offensive penetration testing. Lightweight & Fast: Uses the XFCE desktop environment and runs smoothly on systems with just 2GB of RAM. Bloat-Free: Comes with a relatively small, essential collection of open-source utilities and custom tools instead of hundreds of pre-installed applications, keeping the ISO size around 2.9GB. Tool Development Environment: Pre-customized to give users a ready-to-go lab platform to create, test, and run their own custom security scripts and tools. Custom Tools: Includes specialized lightweight utilities such as Acid Cracker (offline password cracker), Owl-Auditor, Huntd-Ghost, Amphiptere Sentinel, and Amphiptere-ops Ruler. Standard Utilities: Pre-installs essential staples like nmap, wireshark, Aircrack-ng, and John the Ripper.
