What is API Route?

API-Route is an OpenAI-compatible multi-model AI API platform that provides access to GPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, DeepSeek, and other models through one Base URL and API key.

It allows developers to compare model pricing, switch between models without rebuilding their integrations, and use multiple available routes with automatic failover. The API works with OpenAI-compatible SDKs and tools such as Codex, Claude Code, LibreChat, VS Code, and other third-party clients.

API-Route offers transparent token and per-call pricing, pay-as-you-go access, API usage logs, and interfaces in English, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean. It can be used as an alternative to platforms such as OpenRouter for unified access to multiple AI models.
