Arkiv is a home for physical media collectors: catalogue every disc you own by format and edition, see your collection reflected back as real stats, and always know what is on your shelf.
It's free, and everything here today stays that way. No trial period, no card, no paywall on what already exists. If a future feature carries a real running cost (barcode scanning, for example, since lookup providers charge per scan), it may launch as an optional premium add-on, but nothing that exists today gets moved behind a paywall later.
Migrating from CLZ Movies is a first-class path, not an afterthought. Arkiv reads a real CLZ CSV export directly: a typical export maps automatically, and an unusual column layout gets routed to a quick review step instead of silently dropping data. Getting your collection back out is just as open: a full export to CSV or JSON, any time, in full. Nothing about your collection is held hostage in a proprietary format.
The thing collectors tend to notice first, though, is the Collector Portrait: a profile built from what's actually on your shelf, the formats you buy, the eras you return to, how your collection has grown over time. Paired with a Collection DNA map and a Collector Rank that grows as your collection does, Arkiv doesn't just catalogue a shelf, it tells you something about the person who built it.
