AudioRelay's current version, 0.x, works well, and operates perfectly with its companion apps on other devices.
However, it appears the developer may be planning to abandon users of the current lifetime subscription required to use the app with the next major revision of it (v1.x) instead of continuing to provide what we paid for. When attempting to reach out for help with getting the next major update to work over email and in the AudioRelay forum, there was no response or resolution....

It worked on Linux when WO Mic didn't
Hello! I installed AudioRelay, and it's a very useful app for people with hearing loss. I use Signia hearing aids.
I installed AudioRelay on my iPhone and my Windows PC, and I'm very happy with it. I can't hear well through regular headphones or computer speakers.
Thanks to Signia, my hearing aids connect to my iPhone, and AudioRelay streams the audio from my Windows PC to my iPhone. The sound path is: Windows → iPhone → Signia hearing aids.
Everything works perfectly, and the audio is clear and stable.
I'm currently using the Alpha Beta 9 version. Thank you for creating such a great app!

Because of this experience, I cannot recommend AudioRelay to new users. If you pay for the lifetime plan, there's no telling if it will carry over or not - you may not get the service you paid for if you spend money on it now.
AudioRelay is amazing in it's simplicity of use and robust features. You can fine tune every aspect such that latency and quality will be exactly the balance you as a user want. Especially using USB tethering this results in amazing sound, and such that you don't need to buy speakers, or even a microphone. One of the ways I myself use this is to play games with my brother while both wearing headphones using the jack of my pc & phone. Awesome immersion for both players!
This app works perfectly over wifi network, mobile hotspot and usb tethering. Had a problem with latency and the developer helped me to find out that it was due to another wifi related program on my pc. Very nice job!
