AIR (Augmented Information Retrieval) is a document Q&A tool. Upload your files — PDFs, Word docs, text files — ask questions in plain language, and get answers with citations linked to exact source pages. Every claim traces back to a specific document and page number, so you can verify before you act on it. If AIR can't find the answer in your documents, it tells you.

Under the hood, AIR combines semantic search with keyword matching for retrieval, then uses a self-hosted language model to synthesize answers. Your data never touches OpenAI, Google, or any external AI service. The cloud version runs on Canadian-managed servers, and on-premises deployment is available for teams that need full control.

A typical query returns a cited answer in under 20 seconds, even across large document sets. AIR also exposes its reasoning — which documents it searched, which passages it found relevant, and how it assembled the answer. Free tier available with no credit card or time limit.
