This is an excellent way to use a PS3 controller, but use the driver part of MotioninJoy.

In fact, Better DS3 nothing more than a local interface for the driver included with MotioninJoy, its original interface (that green monstrosity you use to configure it) inexplicably happen to be a web-interface.

Better DS3 is an offline MotioninJoy driver configuration tool. You can configure almost all the functions of the controller including LED assignment, vibration strength, Keyboard/Mouse mappings, and PCSX2 pressure sensitivity. This program is compatible with MotioninJoy driver 0.7.1001.

You can use Better DS3 with Playstation emulators, too.
