Booky is a browser-based daily word puzzle. One five-letter word per day, six guesses, with similar purple/yellow/grey feedback tiles as other daily word games. It runs in any browser with no account, no download and no install.

The difference is the answer. Every word is drawn from the romantasy (romance fantasy) genre, so a solved puzzle is usually a character name, a place, a creature, or a phrase a reader of the genre will recognize. After the puzzle is solved the game reveals which book the word came from, showing the title, author and cover. Players who follow the queue effectively get a daily reading recommendation attached to a puzzle.

It also tracks a streak, produces a shareable emoji-grid result, and offers an optional email reminder. A new word unlocks at midnight local time.
