Couldn't be more pleased after running it for a week. I daily drove Linux Mint for 3 years and was ready to give a Arch-based distro a shot, and man, I am really enjoying it!

I do want to add: If you're not tech-savvy enough, don't use this as your first distro. Although Cachy packages a lot of cool settings in its First Boot menu, Cachy is Arch-based and that comes at the cost of needing to know your way through the terminal and read documentation at the very least. If you at least understand how a terminal works, how to troubleshoot, research and read documentation, then go for it. If not, consider another distro until you feel comfortable with these conditions. Apart from that, Cachy is not just a "install script" as jokes will make you believe, it really is a very solid and powerful distro based on Arch which in itself is good enough. Cachy just takes that and improves it a lot more.

Jumped ship from Manjaro (my first distro I installed in late 2020) for my new device, due to trust-eroding stuff regarding the Manjaro development team (continually forgetting to update their certificates, the company going MIA, etc.)

I've only been using it for a week, but I'm very happy so far. A lot of odd bugs I had on Manjaro with KDE never appear. I'm still fond of the rolling-release model and access to the AUR, however I would really like an officially supported GUI package installer, like Pamac on Manjaro. Some things I don't want to consult the CLI for, package management being one of them. Once booted everything feels quick and responsive, but the boot time does feel strangely long, although that might just be my mid-end laptop.

P.S. I like how they styled GRUB, very clean and high resolution.

Just switched from Windows, surprisingly good performance results made me stay. Its really easy to use
