Cadence is a vocal training app that runs entirely in your browser. You sing, and it draws your pitch in real time, showing the things you can feel but cannot see: where you scoop into a note, where you drift on a long one, and how steady the pitch really is. Those measurements are kept take after take, so progress is visible rather than a matter of memory.

It includes free vocal range, voice type, tone-deaf, perfect pitch and vibrato tests, a sight-singing trainer that puts a note on a stave for you to read and sing, and MusicXML score import for learning a part with your own pitch drawn against the written notes.

All pitch detection happens on your own device using the Web Audio API. Recordings stay on your device: no audio is ever uploaded or stored on a server, and none of the tests require a sign-up. It was built by a choral singer for the situation where you know something is off in your singing but cannot tell what.
