Capture Core is an all-in-one screenshot app for Windows. A screenshot is rarely
finished the moment you take it, so the app covers what comes after: editing,
reading, organising, and moving it to your other machines.
Capture a region, the active window, a full screen across multiple monitors, or a
long page with scrolling capture, which scrolls the area for you and stitches the
result into one tall image.
Annotations are kept as layers rather than burned into the image, so arrows,
numbered badges, blur masks and text can be moved or recoloured long after saving.
OCR runs entirely on your machine. Recognised text becomes an index, so you can
find a screenshot by the words inside it. Regions can also be translated through
DeepL, Azure, Google or LibreTranslate with your own API key.
Screenshots sync directly between your own Windows PCs and Android devices, paired
with a QR code. There is no cloud relay and no account.
Also included: clipboard history, reusable text snippets, an encrypted vault, an
edge launcher that works over fullscreen video, a quick tray that stacks fresh
shots at the screen edge, and a generator that turns screenshots into a numbered
how-to in HTML, DOCX or PDF.
One-time purchase. The free edition has no time limit and never watermarks your
images; it is licensed for personal use, and business use needs the Pro licence.
Every Pro feature can be tried free for 14 days from inside the app.
