What is CarConnect?

CarConnect turns a phone into a remote key for a car. It locks and unlocks the doors, shows live location on a map, and reports fuel or charge level, range, odometer and tyre pressure in one place.

It works through the car manufacturer's own connected-services account, so no extra hardware, dongle or OBD adapter is needed. 45+ makes are supported, including Ford, Chevrolet, Tesla, Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Jeep, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Volkswagen, Kia and Hyundai. The app checks compatibility for a specific model before anything is set up.

Other features include a shared digital key for family members, Siri shortcuts and Home Screen quick actions on iOS, service history and document storage, and charging controls for electric cars.

Available for iPhone and Android.
