Comments and Reviews
It’s true that Chamilo LMS initially had many resources available primarily in Spanish, reflecting its strong roots in the Spanish-speaking community. However, Chamilo has now become a truly global solution, adopted worldwide by more than 40 million users—an impressive milestone for a project that thrives without subsidies or external funding.
The latest version of Chamilo introduces significant enhancements, including a more intuitive user interface, advanced reporting tools, seamless integration with videoconferencing platforms, and expanded support for SCORM and H5P. These updates further cement Chamilo’s position as a premier choice for international and professional learning environments.
Moreover, Chamilo has been recognized as part of the Interoperable Europe initiative, showcasing its adaptability and alignment with global educational standards. For more information about Chamilo’s contributions to education and its open-source potential, visit the European Commission's official page: Chamilo LMS on Interoperable Europe.
For professional projects or larger-scale implementations, BeezNest, the principal editor of Chamilo and its official service provider, offers tailored solutions such as multilingual support, hosting, platform customization, and user training. Comprehensive resources are also available in French and English, including detailed documentation and vibrant community discussions.
If you’re ready to explore Chamilo’s full potential and ensure a smooth international deployment, the team at BeezNest is here to assist with a professional and reliable approach.
Unfortunately most of the resources available (from FAQ to blog to website) are only available in Spanish. For using the demo you have to register. Seems half-baken to me, not ready for the international usage.
