I installed AppCrypt on our family Mac mainly to manage my kids’ screen time. It works well for blocking games and social media during homework hours, and I can easily set different schedules depending on the day. I also like that it prevents changes without a password, so the settings stay consistent even when the kids try to bypass them.

What is Cisdem AppCrypt?

Available for Mac, Windows, iPhone, and Android, Cisdem AppCrypt is an app lock and website blocker in one. With it, you can easily lock apps with a password, protecting personal or sensitive data from prying eyes. It also allows you to block distracting websites, helping minimize distractions and improve productivity. Parents can use AppCrypt to restrict inappropriate websites for children and teens, helping keep them safe online. There's a schedule feature to offer flexibility. A password is required to bypass restrictions, such as unlocking apps or unblocking websites.

Key Features of Cisdem AppCrypt:

App locking

  • Lock individual apps, such as Photos, Messages, and WhatsApp
  • Lock all apps except the ones you specify (on Mac only)

Website blocking

  • Block specific websites and pages, such as youtube.com
