What is Click'n'Translate?

Click'n'Translate is a desktop screen OCR and translation utility for text in games, images, videos, applications, remote desktops, and documents.

Users can select any screen region and copy its recognized text, translate a region or the full screen, translate highlighted text, replace selected text with its translation, or keep one or several changing regions translated with Dynamic mode. A document workspace opens common text, Word, PDF, HTML, and RTF files with original and translated text side by side.

The application supports Windows OCR, Tesseract, RapidOCR, and EasyOCR. Online translation providers include Google, MyMemory, Lingva, and LibreTranslate. Optional Argos Translate and Hy-MT packages provide local translation after installation.

Click'n'Translate requires no account and contains no ads or developer-operated analytics. Histories are optional and local. OCR runs locally; text is sent to a third party only when the user selects an online translation provider. The source is available under GPL-3.0.
