I think everything is moving well with icloud, and it works great as a complement to the allready existing operating system on your computer.

I can work at home with the document, then save and continue in school, on a different computer without having to remember to bring a USB memory or send an email to myself.

I have the past few weeks had great use of icloud, in both work and school purposes, even at home I use icloud.

If performance and simplicity is what you're going for, Icloud is not what you're looking for. It's a bloated, vista-like, mess of tasks and icons.
