What is CompleteFTP?

CompleteFTP is a secure file transfer server from EnterpriseDT, running natively on Windows as a service, with the Enterprise MFT edition also available for Linux.

There are four editions:

• Free — FTP and FTPS. Free forever, not a trial. • Standard ($369) — adds SFTP. • Professional ($749) — adds SCP, HTTP and HTTPS, Windows domain users, event notifications and process triggers, quotas, SSH terminal access, advanced file permissions and file sharing. • Enterprise MFT ($1,699) — adds managed file transfer: clustering, Azure Blob and Amazon S3 folders, automated file transfers, extensive end-user customisation, and operation as a secure gateway in front of less secure legacy servers. This is the only edition available on Linux.

Every edition, including Free, supports unlimited users, non-Windows users independent of Windows accounts, a virtual file system for mapping folders into a per-user tree, and administration by AI assistants over MCP.

Licensing is a one-time perpetual purchase per server, not a subscription, with optional yearly updates and support. There is no per-user or per-connection charge at any tier. A 30-day trial of the full Enterprise MFT edition is available.
