Unlike meetup where only the paying group managers/event organizers can post, here anyone can drop an invitation and connect with up to 5 other users over day-to-day low-key activities like coffee, walk, gym, etc. When you meet someone you like, you can just follow each other on the app. The next time you want to do something and want company, just drop an invitations and your followers (friend circle) can easily see it and join you if they want. No need to exchange phone numbers and texting everyone you know checking their availability every time you have an impulse to do something.

This app doesn't just let everyone initiate/meet others for free, it also lets you slowly curate your own personal IRL circle of friends without the overhead of managing groups or events.
