What is ControllerTest?
ControllerTest is a free online gamepad diagnostic tool for Xbox, PlayStation, Switch, Joy-Con, and generic PC controllers. It reads the browser Gamepad API locally and shows live button states, analog stick movement, trigger values, stick drift, deadzone guidance, circularity coverage, polling-rate estimates, and browser-exposed vibration capability.
The tool is designed for real-world controller checks before buying, selling, repair, warranty conversations, or setup changes. Users can run a repeatable workflow, then export JSON or CSV reports for repair notes, support tickets, resale listings, or before-and-after comparisons.
ControllerTest does not claim hardware-lab certification. Polling rate is estimated from browser-visible timestamps, vibration support depends on browser and driver behavior, and controller data is generated locally in the user's browser.
