What is Cortex by SKYNETLAB?

Cortex is a hosted semantic memory layer that AI assistants connect to over the Model Context Protocol, so decisions, context and sources survive between conversations and travel across different models and clients.

What sets it apart is the write path. Every incoming memory passes a quality gate before it is stored: in production roughly 80% of writes are rejected as redundant, and rejected writes do not consume quota. What does get in is extracted into typed claims, contradictions are tracked instead of silently overwritten, and every answer can cite the memory it came from.

The account page reports the numbers per user: writes received, chunks submitted, stored and rejected, the rejection rate, storage saved, entities and claims extracted, and the cost avoided compared with storing everything. All data can be exported or permanently deleted at any time.

Setup takes about two minutes with Claude or any other MCP client. Runs on EU infrastructure. 30-day free trial with no card required, paid plans from 0.99 EUR per month. Patent-pending engine, built solo in Bergamo, Italy.
