really good FOSS alternative sim city

The engine is clearly in an excellent state. However, it doesn't look to be functioning as a game at the moment. There's no indication what any of the buttons do, and some of them look like the icons may be misaligned.

Placing things is otherwise intuitive and snappy, though. This is going to be fun when it's done.

  • Custom UI System, based on JSON. Highly moddable
  • SDL2 based rendering engine written in C++
  • Camera panning, zooming, relocating
  • Terrain manipulation
  • Procedural Terrain Generation
  • Pixel-art graphics made by graphics team lead by Kingtut 101
  • An original soundtrack, ambient noises, and sound effects made mostly by MB22
  • A Qt based tile editor for editing TileData JSON files
