What is DecodeMyBio?
DecodeMyBio is a web-based pharmacogenomics tool that interprets the raw genotyping files exported from consumer DNA tests (23andMe, AncestryDNA, MyHeritage, FamilyTreeDNA, Living DNA). It reports how a user's genetic variants relate to medication response, drawing on CPIC guidelines, ClinVar, and the FDA Table of Pharmacogenomic Biomarkers, and cites its sources. It also provides carrier and ClinVar findings, nutrigenomics, polygenic scores and ancestry (the latter two require whole-genome sequencing data), and a natural-language query interface over the user's results. The tool indicates when a gene such as CYP2D6 cannot be reliably determined from genotyping-array data rather than reporting an inferred result. It is informational and not a substitute for clinical testing or medical advice. A free tier provides a genome overview and labelled sample results; full access is a one-time purchase, with an optional subscription for ongoing new-prescription checks and guideline-change alerts.
