DeepL used to be a flagship European project. Nowadays, the translations are getting worse and worse, and the data is no longer kept in Europe either. For me, there's no longer any reason to use this service.

The quality of translations from English to Russian and vice versa is generally better than Google Translate. However, translating just one (!!) document per month is a sign of extreme greed: "You've reached your free document translation limit. You'll be able to translate documents again in 29 days. To start translating documents right now, try DeepL Pro for free." I would also like to mention the overloaded text search web page, long delays when translating pasted text (compared to the very fast Google Translate), frequent captchas, inaccessibility without a VPN in my country, and the lack of reverse translation (displaying the translation to the source language).
