What is DeskDash?

DeskDash puts live widgets on your desktop wallpaper: clocks, system stats, weather, media controls, calendars, notes, and whatever else people build. They run at wallpaper level, behind your normal windows. They are there when you clear your screen, and out of the way when you do not.

Make it yours. Enter edit mode and drag, resize, stack and restyle every widget on a snapping grid. Widgets can overlap, carry their own settings, and open a larger panel when you want more detail.

Match your desktop. One theme drives every color, size and font, and the auto theme picks its palette from your wallpaper. Save layouts as presets and switch between them.

Safe to run. Every widget starts with no reach into your files, your network or your other widgets. Before one runs, you see exactly what it asks for, and you decide what to grant. API keys go into Windows Credential Manager, never into a widget or a config file. Marketplace submissions are reviewed by hand. There are no ads, and nothing tracks what you do on your desktop.

Widgets in two clicks. Browse the built-in marketplace and add what you need without leaving the app. All widgets are free and included in the price.

Build your own. A widget is a folder of plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript with no build step. Developer mode gives you a starter template and an inspector, the docs are public, and you can publish what you make to the marketplace.
