What is DevDome Analytics?

DevDome Analytics provides free WordPress traffic reporting as an alternative to paid services such as Plausible Analytics and Fathom Analytics. It requires a free DevDome account. The hosted service processes events and builds reports, so analytics records do not accumulate in WordPress database tables.

WordPress displays summary metrics, with detailed reports in the DevDome dashboard. Reports cover visitors, sessions, pageviews, referral sources, countries, browsers, devices and outbound clicks. Known bots and AI crawlers have separate counts. Supported AI assistant referrals are identified too, although disguised or unknown bots can escape detection.

Fresh installations use cookieless general tracking. Returning-visitor tracking starts disabled. Enabling it adds browser storage for visitor and session identifiers. Administrators and editors are excluded initially, and browser Do Not Track requests are honored by default.

Settings provide separate controls for outbound links, AI referrals and crawler reporting. Tracking begins after connection and stops when disconnected. First-Party Delivery, which serves tracking assets through your domain and relays events through WordPress, requires a DevDome Pro plan or above.
