What is DevedeNG?
It converts any video format to DVD so can you can watch on any DVD player in your house.
DeVeDe is a program to create video DVDs and CDs (VCD, sVCD or CVD), suitables for home players, from any number of video files, in any of the formats supported by Mplayer. The big advantage over other utilites is that it only needs Mplayer, Mencoder, DVDAuthor, VCDImager and MKisofs (well, and Python, PyGTK and PyGlade), so its dependencies are really small.

Nice program for making DVDs out of video files. You can make semi professional looking menus with images of your choice and set various parameters for sound, aspect ratio, chapters, space and number of files to fit the disc, etc.
It can be a little overwhelming if you don't know exactly what you are doing, but it allows you to preview your changes before committing to anything.
