What is DriverGeek?

DriverGeek lists every driver installed on a Windows machine with its version, date, provider and the device it belongs to, in one sortable and searchable view rather than scattered across Device Manager.

It also surfaces the driver updates Windows Update knows about but does not push, which sit under optional updates where most people never look.

It deliberately does not download drivers from third-party mirrors. Everything it offers comes from Windows Update, so there is no risk of the wrong driver from an unknown source. The inventory can be exported, which is what you actually want before rebuilding a machine.

Free for personal and commercial use, with no Pro tier, no adverts, no bundled offers, no account and no telemetry. Open source under GPL-3.0. The .NET 8 runtime is bundled, so there is nothing to install first.
