One of the best google Photos alternative, It even has Family Plans 🤩. It also encrypts the metadata, while allowing to search through the metadata to find your photos.

The most desired feature is the subfolder feature. The first request was in Oct 2023 and is by far the most desired feature on that app.

But devs are saying that it would need too much rework to implement this feature.

Only response from devs is that "tags" could solve that issue too. Users should get rid of folders and subfolders.

But for me, tags are not the same as folders and subfolders. Before you go all in, think of how you want to sort your photos.

It's been a true revelation that I didn't see coming. A capable, respectful, beautiful, a product of love capable of taking on Google / Apple Photos? It's still a young endeavour but it's making good, constant improvement. Very accessible, open and frank people as well. I love the project.

Has some really impressive features that I have not seen on any other end to end encrypted photo backup apps. Things like people detection, smart search, and a really nice guest upload experience.
