I love that Epic Games does bi-weekly giveaways! My game library continues growing without me spending a cent!

They give a lot of great games for free, but I wouldn't be so fast to join their ranks. They are owned by Tencent in 40%. That makes them vulnerable to the wishes of the government that holds no respect for human rights, privacy and freedom of expression.

Steam's monopoly and their 30% share is something I don't approve of, but it's still a better alternative.

The software itself is clunky, heavy and deleted my game records when I uninstalled it. It does have the worst achievement integration I've seen and it's basically a glorified DRM.

I don't need a broken packager like Steam does from a game store. I don't need broken forums like Steam does. I don't need insane bbcodes from a publisher like Steam does. I don't need a separate messenger from every game store...
